Important Announcement from HOC Board of Directors

The 2021 HOC Board of Directors held its first meeting of the new year on January 9, 2021. While much business was handled, the major area of focus was the upcoming walks of 2021. After considering the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of the community members and potential pilgrims, as well as all the planning and preparation that is required for a walk, the Board has made the decision to have a season without walks in 2021. While the future remains filled with many unknowns, we have a loving Father in control, who leads and guides us through the Holy Spirit. During the remainder of 2021 we plan to continue virtual gatherings and social media to “sustain the spirit” of Emmaus in our community. We ask that anyone who would like to offer their gifts and graces as a moderator, Fourth Day speaker, clergy, or musician to contact Lonnie and Toni Hickerson.
